Rosemary and Ink

Rosemary has been a long standing fixture in the lore of romance and matrimony. As the symbol of remembrance and fidelity rosemary has been used for centuries in courtship and weddings. It is said that rosemary would help one remember their wedding vows and if laid in the bed linen it would ensure faithfulness. As of the middle ages rosemary given as a wedding favour symbolises that though the couple were starting a new life they would always remember their friends and family. 

For this suite of wedding stationery rosemary, wild flowers and weeds were used throughout with raw blue ink dots and splatters. The invitation letter has been folded around the information cards, RSVP leaflet, map and menu and has been sealed with a unique wax stamp before posting the package to guests.
